AWN Insurance Inc. is a Canadian insurance broker. They are leaders in understanding “specialty” insurance programs. They were struggling to land new opportunities and understood they were not well enough known in the industry. They wanted to explore social media, but did not like the medium and had never done it.

 The Tiny Agency was asked to recommend what to do and how to get started. To help build credibility, we launched a small website and LinkedIn page, provided the posts, tidied up their personal accounts and did some light advertising.

  • Goals.

    Primary - B to B. Help build online credibility and secure meetings with decision makers who are exploring insurance and warranty needs. Secondary – B to B. Grow awareness and help overall SEO.  

    Content.

    After the launch of a new website, we created groups of LinkedIn posts touting the unique company expertise. To help manage the budget, many of these posts were “evergreen” and could be reused after a few months to keep their page active. We utilized stock imagery that the targeted persona would easily identify with, and then created a brand look and feel to add consistency and credibility to the posts.

    Advertising.

    The organic posts were repurposed into short-duration, small lead-gen AD campaigns on LinkedIn.

    Impact.

    Although the campaigns did not secure any successful direct broker leads, the growth in awareness helped attract investor interest, who purchased an interest in AWN, and brought a book of business in need of AWN’s specialty insurance broker expertise.
