CONTENT STRATEGY | CONTENT PRODUCTION
Hirsch Pipe & Supply, a large plumbing and HVAC distributor in the competitive Southern Californian market, wanted to improve its social media but lacked the internal resources to do it effectively. The Tiny Agency was asked to introduce “best practices” and to take over the day-to-day management of their social feeds.
With the implementation of a custom social media strategy, The Tiny Agency brought a “common voice” and improved social media metrics. Hirsch can now focus on other key parts of their marketing plan, knowing social is in trusted hands.
-
Goals.
Primary - B to B sales. Influence potential new customers (plumbers and HVAC installers) by touting the benefits of working with Hirsch. Secondary B to B retention. Inform and retain existing customers by providing helpful information and valuable tips.
Content Strategy.
We provide recommendations on what might resonate with installers. This includes introducing consistent branding, finding ways to get more people into the feed and providing clear CTAs. With more people now mentioned in the feed, we make sure proper tagging is in place to reach an audience beyond their own.
Content Creation.
Since we are three time zones away, Hirsch remains responsible for gathering all the raw content. From this, we create most of the content (about 15 posts a month), including writing, branding choices, graphic design and video editing. In addition, we produce 25 to 30 Stories a month, primarily based on existing content.
Impact.
In the first 6 months, Reach is up an average of 50%, and Engagement is up as much as 200% some months. We successfully drastically reduced the flood of “unfollows” Hirsch had on Facebook, stopping an audience decline.
The Hirsch marketing team has benefited from offloading this production, enabling them to better focus on advertising, events, and promotions.
